What a visit looks like

Small, ordinary moments — that's the whole point.

No two visits look the same, but they all share the same warmth.

The kettle's on

Tea, a chat, and time that isn't rushed.

A familiar face at the door

Same companion, so nobody's a stranger.

Something good cooking

A proper meal made fresh, together in the kitchen.

Company on the walk

Fresh air and conversation, at an easy pace.

What it can do

How a bit of regular company helps.

Companionship isn't just conversation — it changes how the whole week feels.

✓

Keeps your loved one active, with someone to do things alongside

✓

Guaranteed company and conversation, on a schedule you set

✓

Builds confidence in getting out of the house again

✓

Encourages hobbies and activities, in and out of the home

✓

Gives family carers genuine, guilt-free time to rest

✓

A familiar face already in place if care needs grow later

Why this matters

Loneliness isn't a small thing.

Regular company changes how someone's week feels — and there's real evidence behind it.

1.4m

Older people in England are often lonely — a figure projected to rise to around 2 million by 2026.

2x

Roughly the increased risk of conditions like coronary heart disease and dementia linked to social isolation.

1×/wk

Even a single standing weekly visit gives structure to the week and someone to look forward to seeing.

What we do

Five ways we help, all built around company first.

Every visit is about presence and practical help — never personal or medical care.

Companionship visits

Conversation, a cup of tea, accompanying to appointments or a walk outside. Simple company, reliably.

Light housekeeping

Cleaning, laundry and general household tasks that keep a home comfortable and manageable.

Meal preparation

Fresh, home-cooked meals prepared in the kitchen — not feeding or assisting someone to eat.

Shopping & errands

Weekly shop, prescriptions collected, or errands run — either together or on your loved one's behalf.

Sitting & respite

Cover so a family carer can take a proper break, run errands, or simply rest — without hands-on care.

A path to more support

If needs change, our companionship team sits alongside our CQC-registering domiciliary service — for a clear, trusted next step.

Straightforward pricing

No hidden fees, no long contracts.

Pay-as-you-go by the hour, or save with a weekly package. One-hour minimum visit.

Where we draw the line

Company and practical help — never personal or medical care.

Our companionship service is deliberately non-regulated, which means we don't provide hands-on personal or medical care. If needs progress beyond this, we have a clear, trusted referral path into our CQC-registering domiciliary care team.

✓ Company, conversation, shopping, light housekeeping and meal prep
✕ Washing, dressing, or help with personal hygiene
✕ Medication administration
✕ Feeding or physical mobility assistance
✓ A clear referral into regulated domiciliary care if needs increase
Who we are

Yadel Care Service Ltd is an Essex-based care company built around two connected services: companionship support you can book today, and a domiciliary care service currently progressing through CQC registration.

Our companionship team works alongside a Registered Nurse leading our domiciliary care service — so if your needs change, there's a clear, trusted path to more hands-on support.

We keep our team small deliberately: fewer, better-known faces, seeing the same clients week after week.

Serving Essex

Local, small, and easy to reach.

We're not a national call-centre operation — you'll speak directly with the person coordinating your visits, and meet your companion before the first booking.

Company registered in England & Wales, no. 17319876.

Common questions

Good to know before you get in touch.

If your question isn't here, just ask — we're easy to reach.

What's the difference between companionship and personal care?
Companionship covers social contact and everyday practical tasks — chatting, shopping, light housekeeping, meal prep. Personal care means hands-on help like washing, dressing or medication, which falls under CQC-regulated domiciliary care. We're upfront about which side of that line each visit sits on.
How often can we book visits?
However often suits — a single weekly visit, twice a week, or more. Most clients settle into a standing weekly rhythm, but there's no minimum contract and you can change the schedule any time.
Will it always be the same support worker?
We keep our team deliberately small so your loved one sees a familiar, known face rather than a rotating cast of strangers.
What if care needs increase over time?
Our companionship team works alongside our domiciliary care service, which is progressing through CQC registration. If needs move toward personal care, there's a clear referral path into that regulated service.
Are your support workers checked and insured?
Yes — every support worker passes a DBS check, right-to-work check, and reference checks before taking any visit, and we hold public liability insurance.
